United Services Agency is a nonprofit organization located in Santa Cruz California. Our mission is to support educational, cultural, and service projects in Santa Cruz County, the greater Bay Area and the world.

ABOUT US
USA started in 1970 with a happy encounter between two friends,the Reverand Herb Schmidt and Dr. Paul Lee on the UCSC campus. Their nonprofit work continues today with through the new leadership of Nada Miljkovic and Toby Corey.
Our most outstanding program was the Community Congress, formed in 1975, which was made up of a private non-profit corporation to review the county budget.The county administrator had originally recommended $400,000 for nonprofits. After lobbying the county and carefully reviewing the budget, $1,500,000 was designated for nonprofits.
